06/17/21 We are driving through high plateaus at over 6000 feet. Although we are driving an interstate highway, we are getting back to enjoying the vistas. We stopped for gas at Little America which originally was a small chain of hotels I used years ago when I traveled for work to Salt Lake City. Also we are only traveling up to 175 miles each day to minimize Shannon's anxiety. We drove 173 miles to Red Desert Rose RV Park in Rawlins WY. Again the temperature was over 90 but it did cool off even more tonight. However the wind continued to blow with gusts up to 30 mph. We decided to retract the slide to lessen the wind noise for sleeping.
