05/19/21 Wayne and Mike replaced the solar controller so now the solar works! Shannon had been limping for a couple of days so we went to the vet today. She had a ¾ inch foxglove thorn embedded in her paw that needed surgery to be removed. She should be fine but was woozy from being put under and is taking antibiotics. Pretty sure she is blaming me for how she feels but maybe that's just mommy guilt. We had hours with a quiet dog, an unknown event. But she was back within 18 hours. We went to a local beach where bald eagles come to eat at low tide but we were too late to see much. Planning on going back earlier tomorrow.
