06/27/21 We only had a relatively short drive of 134 miles so we left later than usual. We stopped at a rest stop and decided to get fuel before going to the Fla-Net Park campground in Flanders NJ. That was our mistake because then our directions included make a u-turn or go on a narrow road under construction. After driving around trying to find a better route, we gave up and just hoped for the best. Finally we arrived 45 minutes later only moderately stressed by the experience. We knew no one would be in the office on Sunday so we grabbed our paperwork and walked to our site first to ensure no more surprises. Right decision, hard to find but a level pull through site and easy out to the road with an alternative way back to I80 east thanks to helpful neighbors. The temperature here is 89 degrees so we quickly plugged in and turned on the air conditioner. This should be our last campground of this trip because our plan is be home tomorrow afternoon. Fingers crossed for an uneventful trip tomorrow.
