Woke up this morning to discover a great big terrantula sleeping jus metres away from my head, on a web as big as my kitchen table, love it!!! Started trekking again by ten but it wasn't as far as the previous days! After lunch yesterday we had torrential rain n had to basically bum ski down a rather big hill! This morning was sunny and by about 12, we walked across a high bridge to the elephants!!! Me and Harriet got sun chai, the big daddy of all elephants and our guide moved aside so we cud sit rite on top of his head! Sun chai was really well behaved and navigated his way thru the jungle without much help from us! Loved it!!! After lunch, we went bamboo rafting down the river n I don't think I have Eva been as filthy in all my life!!! It was a good job we had steph, a paramedic from Canada on our tour cos I was so knackered, the foetal position was sounding quite appealing!!! Helen survived an iPod sized scorpion nesting in her travel pants however luckily, it wasn't poisonous so steph cud leave her working skills at home! Gemmas mountain marathon before she came away stood her in good stead for the trip!!! Now back at the guest house, all cleaned up, feeling like ive done ten rounds wiv mike tyson, n ordering pizza, yes yes :0) xx
