I spent the morning at the local church service which was significant as the crops had just been harvested so the message was 'Plant your heart to god'! The preacher was extremely passionate and angry, telling the locals not to drink too much cava and to attend church to hear gods word!

Taivoli, the village elder took me to see his private, secluded beach front house and told me how 3000 years ago, the south Africans came to Fiji and were the first inhabitants! No one else was invited so he must have had a soft spot for me! Taivoli is 66 and makes the strenuous up and down hill hike each day to work at the resort! He invited me snorkelling and fishing tomorrow, can't wait! The resorts been on the island 15 years and has changed the lives of the 220 inhabitants dramatically! Before that, money wasn't needed and they would fish everyday for food!

After my hard day lounging in the sun I went to my nice air conditioned room and one of the staff members came in to 'check the air con'! After he tried to mouth rape me, it seemed the air con was absolutely fine ha ha

Just lay under the stars on the beach watching 'the rum diaries' on the big screen, never heard of this film but johnny depps looking slightly nice!!!
