Initially i wasn't too impressed with Krabi. Everyone we'd spoke to had said it was one of the best places they'd been with beautiful beaches. When we finally went down to the beach.. It was ok, the water wasn't that clear and the sand was average compared to other beaches. The next day however we took a tail boat around the bay to railay beach, and it was quite beautiful. The beach had lovely fine white sand with clear calm water. I swam about a km round the corner of the bay and found some cool little caves, shame I didn't take my go pro. I met people out there in their kayaks who seemed a little shocked to find someone who'd swam all that way out from the beach.
