As always we rented bikes out to explore the island, driving though the busy city was definitely an experience, weaving in and out of traffic stood still like the locals. We also drove along the costal roads up to the national park where a pretty cool Aussie chick gabby had convinced us to walk to turtle beach from the park.. It turned out to be a 2 hour hike to the beach.. An actual hike.. We were being passes by people in hiking boats, walking sticks and sports clothing. I had flip flops and a pair of swim shirts on.. Cheers gabby!
This same Aussie also convinced me an Jord that oh just one more round each would be a good idea.. More than once.! So we had a couple of days hungover as well!
To get from the mainland from Penang you have to cross and enormous suspension bridge, which before having to hand our bikes back in in the morning we decided to do it hungover.. It took 20minutes to cross and when we got to the other side we found out we had to pay a tool booth charge to get back..! Bummer!
