Merry Christmas everyone from sunny New Zealand!! Its very bizarre to think that is all cold and snowy back home while its pretty hot where i am! Had a wee Skype with the family 1st thing while it was Xmas here and not back home! Was a little bit sad seeing them all there and not being with them :( However everyone made me feel so welcome and part of the celebrations I really enjoyed myself!

Started the day with some breaky and me and Sarah had a stocking to share from Heather and Peter which was lovely of them! Was full of wee bits and bobs that we cause use while travelling but also girly practical stuff! We all got ready and James (Lesleys son) and his girlfriend Katie came round to join us for present opening. It was really nice as they even got me wee presents which i totally hadnt been expecting! An English couple also joined us for drinks at that time.

We had a yummy lunch of turkey with apricot stuffing, salads, potatos and veggies. A wee Irish couple also had a few drinks with us as well. Oh and for starters we had fresh prawns, did try one but think its just too fishy a taste for me so i didnt hav anymore! Had a lemon sponge thing for desert. We also had a cheese board and lots of nibbles. Really spent the whole day drinking and eating far too much and it was fantastic! Oh and we had these strawberry and cointro ice cubes in our bubbles which were well nice!

Also nearly forgot to mention that Lesley dressed up as the Christmmas fairy and handed out all the presents which was a good laugh. She also granted us one Christmas wish and sprinkled us with fairy dust! Actually had a really good day and hardly felt sad at all which was good! Oh and we even managed to have a wee sun bathe during the day as well!
