So last night was not fun! Spent a good few hours running back and fourth to the toilet throwing up! Not ideal when you are in a hostel and the loo is right down the corrider and past reception! Plus I was trying not to wake my room mates up!

I managed a few hours sleep in the late morning though and woke up feeling a lot better. I spent a couple of hours blogging in the hostel and then went out for pasta and salad for a late lunch will helped my stomach. I then spent a couple of hours wandering around the old town, it really is so beautiful and I just love that you don't need a map, you can just meander down the little side streets and see where you get too! I have done so much walking this trip so far - I am hoping it will counter act all the Guinness and the meals out!

There are lots of russian tourists here and most of the Estonians speak a bit of russian, as well as english and finnish. I learnt that they speak Finnish due to them watching a lot of Finnish tv in the early 90's when they were given independance! One of the italians in my room is a journalist who lives in Russia but has to leave every 3 months to re apply for his visa which is why he is in Tallinn now - his passport is with the embassy while it gets approved so he is kind of in exile in the hostel! The dutch guy who came to dinner with us (called bob!) is in the navy and spends 60 days at a time on a submarine! I love speaking with people and finding out about them - makes my life sound boring!!

It got to around 5.30 and I remembered the footy was on so I headed to my local pub, the irish pub!, to watch it. It was only after that I remembered we are two hours ahead so I was 2 hours early! ha ha! So I only ended up watching a bit of the first half. I then wandered and found a couple of bars - one is called DM bar and its a bar dedicated to Depeche Mode! How random!

I then went back to the hostel and sat talking to some irish lads who were on a stag do as well as some german lads for a coupe of hours, while having cheap beers! Its so chilled out here, I love it!!
