(apologies for the delay, I haven't managed to find much time to write so this is a catch up!!)

So, after the pints of gin from the night before, I didnt get up to much the day after!!! The hostel I am staying in is so good for relaxing though, theres a big common room with a kitchen and then a separate bar area so you can just chill. Its so cool, everyone is so friendly too!

I had a quick wander to the shop and bought supplies for a chilled night - I finished watching Birdbox, I thought it was ok but nothing special! Not sure what all the hype is about - plus the book is meant to be much better and has a darker ending than the film!

After an early night, I was fighting fit again the next day (Friday) so I went for a nice breakfast of scrambled eggs (yet more eggs!) and went to an area called Telliskivi. This is out of the old town and probably about a 20 min walk from my hostel. Its a creative arty area with loads of galleries an little shops.

It looks like its an ace area in the summer, as it has little bars in containers that have all seating outside but as its thick with snow, I wont be sitting out!

I wandered around for a while, going in the galleries and little shops and taking pics of the street art outside. I quite like the contrast of this area compared to the old town, its very run down but it suits it.

I spent another hour or so wandering around the city and then headed back to my room. My dorm mates were going out for food that night and they invited me along, which was nice of them. They mentioned going to a medievel restaurant where you can eat elk ribs and bear meat!! But then I said I dont eat meat so we decided on an italian restaurant instead! It was really nice actually, quite a mix of people, 2 italians, 2 english, 1 german, 1 dutch and one estonian! I had a couple of beers but started to feel a bit off soon after. We went to a couple of bars but I ended up going home before them as I felt crap, not sure why as I had only had scrambled eggs earlier and then veggie pizza. I bought a big bottle of water on the way home and headed to bed
