Today we left Phi Phi and headed to Phuket for our flight to Bangkok, and the next phase of our adventure.

The soundtrack to today's journey ha to be 'Monster' by Kanye, in respect to the Hangover 2. This also meant constantly shouting HOLLA CITY OF SQUALOR and confirming that we will be having a 'sick night b****es'. For those who haven't seen Hangover 2, the next few blogs may be lost with you. I recommend you watch the film, not for the purpose of the blog, but because it's a cracking watch.

After a ferry and a flight, we arrived in the city of squalor that is Bangkok, and grabbed a taxi to to notorious Koah San Road and our hotel. Checked in and fed, it was time to see what all the fuss was about.

First stop: sky bar. Again, a Hangover reference. It's that part in the movie where the wolf pack go to the rooftop bar that overlooks the whole of Bangkok. Even if you haven't seen the movie, you had to appreciate that view. We took a famous tuk tuk, which was an incredible experience. Fast, reckless, dangerous and amazing fun. It had to be done.

We had a few Hangovertinis (the bar clearly taking advantage of tourists like us) and toasted to the upcoming 'sick night'. Let's hope our drinks weren't roofied.

Back on Koah San, we hit many a bar, pounded many a drink, and also ate scorpions. Words cannot describe. I have a video, hopefully I can post it here, because there are no words for that experience!

After more drinks and clubs, it was getting clear that Bangkok has us now....
