Sea Glass! Before leaving Vieques this morning Lazaro and I walked into town to Sea Glass Beach. While Lazaro did his morning jog, I hunted for sea glass. I ended up finding about 10 pieces of sea glass. I was very pleased with my bounty!

Other highlight from our trip...

We took a ferry from Vieques to Fajardo. On the ferry we met a woman from Chicago (who was feeling seasick) so she came to sit with us in the back of the boat--at the time I wasn't sure this was a good idea but as usual (Lazaro assures me with a quick hand squeeze that this won't end in disaster)--Lazaro is quick to make friends and learned her life story--she and her (Mexican) husband had been camping in Vieques and we're now heading to San Juan.
My ears perk up because we had not secured transportation yet so we were hoping to share a cab--. She tells us that her cab was full (they had already buddied up with someone else that they had met) but she introduced us to two other guys from Chicago who had been camping next to her that were on the ferry and headed to San Juan. They were looking for someone to share a cab with on the hour journey. Introductions were made and we were off-- we made it to San Juan without breaking the bank and are we're able to share the journey with two guys from Chicago.
