A Christmas miracle!

After a wonderful day with friends and family we went straight to the Fort Lauderdale airport in search of long-term parking. When we arrive at the designated parking lot we find the entrance blocked. A kind gentleman said there were no spaces but he was going to send us to the overflow lot. He gave us directions (which we followed) only to arrive at an open field surrounded by clusters of "workers" each competing for our attention. One of the guys motions for us to approach. We explain to him that the other guy sent us and that we needed to park our car. The "worker" explains that we can park in this field for up to seven days for a fee of $10.00. We asked $10.00 per day? He said $10 total. We said--where do we park?! (We had been expecting to pay $7.00-10.00 per day). However just as a precaution & because we have had issues in the past with finding our car--I took pictures of the parking lot and ticket stub! I am dubbing this experience our Christmas miracle.

Saw my brother and sister-in-law. They were kind enough to let us tag along as they visited with their friends.
