And we are off...
Compared to our last trip to Europe we have packed our belongings in 2 backpacks. I am not sure if the difference is due to weather or experience.

This afternoon we left Atlanta for Frankfurt, Germany. The most frightening aspect of our trip thus far may have been our trip to airport via an Uber driver. I felt more than once that I needed to help apply the breaks from the back seat—while Lazaro was helping with steering from the passenger side. But we arrived safe and mostly sound —now we are ready for our adventures!

The highlights from the flight—I enjoyed the movies (watched Game Night, Black Panther, and half of Downsizing). Lazaro (of course) made a new friend. The guy seated next to him was on a mission trip to the Chek Republic with 22 others.

The meal was good. I opted for the pasta dish while Lazaro had the chicken. I also enjoyed the free wine
