So change of plan again....... ha!!

Im leaving TI on the 19th to fly to Cairns. I spoke to Bob and he said it was cool for me to go down with him but that he wasnt getting into Cairns until the 23rd, which would leave it too late for me to get to Airlie Beach. We are going on a boat trip for 3 days and leave early on Christmas eve. I was so torn for ages between taking the risk of going on the boat and saving a bit of money, but the risk is too great. If it all went wrong i could be stuck in Cairns on Christmas Day on my own!! It also means im back with Sam earlier which i cant wait for. She phoned me at the hotel the other day when i was having a really bad day and i didnt know it was her and i was working behind the bar and i burst out crying!!!! SAD!!!! I just didnt realise how much i missed her i guess! Plus i didnt even know she had the number for the hotel. It was such a nice suprise! I was smiling for the rest of the day!!

Ive met loads of cool people in the past few days actually. This guy from lurgan who wants me to come and be his au pair!!!! He's such a nice guy. He married a japanese woman and so he calls his kids japanirish!!! Speaking of Japanese...... im having japanese lessons every day from the girl i work with. Its SO hard but really good fun! I love it!

I had a day off on saturday and i was having a moan behind the bar a few days before saying there was nothing to do and one of the locals said he would take me out on his jet ski!!!!!!!! It was SO much fun (photos coming soon!!) Everyone calls it the TI ferrari!! I was a bit scared, but after a while i just got over it and it was really good fun. I have the most bruised arse EVER!!!!!! HA!

Also.... more stuff thats worked out good....... there is a building company up here doing work on the school and the floor manager is in our place every night. He's a really nice guy. He offered me some cash in hand work to do a few hours of cleaning up after the building work, so im getting $25 a hour, cleaning, but its so not hard and all the guys are really dead on, so thats where im off now! Ive been working in the Fed since 7AM tho so im only gonna do 2 hours for him.

Not hating it here, but i really cant wait to get off the island and back on the road. Im in need of a change. The people at the hotel i work with (minus lisa) are beginning to drive me a bit crazy!!!! 9 more working days and then im GONE!!!!! Not long at all!!!!!! Kairi (japanese girl i work with ) is leaving on Thursday and im so jelous!! Im gonna miss her loads. she's SUCH a nice person. But not long for me either!

Better head on to my other job! MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
