So after being on hideous transport and travelling for an excruciating 28hrs (which i managed to sleep for about 20 of them -good job kim!) we arrived in koh tao where believe it or not it started to rain....

We hadn't booked anywhere to stay, which resulted in us lugging our rucksacks around trying to find somewhere to stay.... In the end we pretty much stayed at the first place we saw. Which happened to be a resort... Now I don't know if over mentioned this already but even though me and jess are travelling we haven't actually stayed in a dorm yet..... Flashpacking/glampacking call it what you will I'd appealing to us.... But our accommodation budget is unhealthy, so we stayed at this lovely resort opposite the beach (had a pool and everything!) we even got free breakfast so after ditching our bags we headed to sairee beach where we managed to catch some glorious rays.

That night we had a romantic stroll along the beach and an early night :) we booked a hostel -spicy tao for the next four nights but it deserves its own post.
