We arrived earlyish into Bangkok on the 1st, had breakfast just off Khao San Road and then checked into our hotel, which was the start of the tour down to Singapore. The overnight train last night was a not as nice as the one we took before, and the timing was rubbish as we had to leave mid afternoon. There is a tourist boat that runs up and down the river in Bangkok so we decided to check it out as it was only 100 baht for the day and you can get on and off as many times as you like.
