Once we got to the train station at Surat Thani (at the fun hour of 6.40am) we got a bus, then a ferry to Koh Samui. I managed to get sunburnt as we were sat on the top deck and I only thought to put suncream on the bottom of my arms and my feet. It seemed logical at the time!

We paid far too much for a mini bus to our hotel. Got there and there was a massive crowd of people around the front desk and we waited forever to get our room. There was some mix up with the room and we ended up with a double bed, but it did end up being cheaper.

While waiting for the room to be cleaned we went down to the beach and went swimming, by the time we got back we were lobster red. My face looked hideous!

In the evening I met up with Tim, we had dinner and I accidently got drunk on White Russians. They were so alcoholic and I hadn't drunk in so long, it only took four of them!

The next day we hired a moped and drove up the east coast of Koh Samui and played mini golf. On the way back we managed to fall off the bike. I jumped off the back but Kate scraped her knee and her elbow. We got up quickly but no-one came to help us! After that we drove really slowly back until the tyre started wobbling as we had a flat tyre! We managed to get it changed for 100 baht (1.50) and then went even slower to get back to the bike place. Managed it in one piece, went swimming on the beach again and had dinner. The plan was to go out in the evening but we had to pick up our washing and it wasn't done until 9. We went out for a drink after that but gave up as it was kinda quiet and we couldn't be bothered.
