We got to Singapore early afternoon, checked into our fancy hotel. Went out to look for a cash machine, but we couldn't find the one we had been directed to, so ended up somewhere random, though we did find cake! Went back to the hotel to get ready for going out that night. We left at 6.30 and went to this bar where apparently it was gothic night! They had set up a Mexican buffet for us, which was so nice. Some of the people on our tour set up a mini awards ceremony as it was the last night of the tour, which was good as everyone got an award. Some more embarrassing than others (mine included). We did some more drinking and dancing, lauras dancing in particular was amazing. At midnight we got taxis to another club. Kate went home as she felt ill. Everyone was pretty wasted and dancing on the stage and on the poles. Then people started arguing, though I'm not really sure the exact details of it. I was one of the few people who didn't cry! We left around 2.30/3ish and got taxis back to the hotel. I found the most amazing burger in the seven-eleven. Best drunk food ever!

The next day we got up early to say goodbye to our tour leader, not sure how I managed that one. We were up before most people. Kate was still feeling ill so she went back to bed. I went shopping with Fiona and Jemima, most people were up by the time we got back and so everyone checked out and said goodbye to those flying that day. We checked into our new hostel (not quite as nice as the fancy hotel!), Kate wen to sleep and I got the MRT to the main shopping street, had lunch by myself (a very liberating experience!) and then went shopping. In the evening I met up with the others for dinner, had pizza. It was good and then sat in a cafe for a bit.

Today we slept in, I was so tired. Then we had lunch and went to an Art Museum. Kate enjoyed it but I was bored out of my brain. Art really is not my thing. Then we had coffee and cake and did some shopping. Tonight we're not going to do a lot, just have dinner, pack and get an early night as we are flying early tommorrow morning. Had an amazing time in Asia and will be sad to leave but we're really looking forward to going to Australia and being able to speak the language!
