Ok, so I know two entries in one day is unheard off but having a lazy day today (doing laundry, going to the post office & making hotel reservations) so thought Í'm ramble on to you all. You lucky, lucky people!

So I´ve been here for nearly three weeks now & I´ve noticed somethings I´d like to share wiv you all!

The best things about Ecuador:

• The Galapagos Islands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Salted banana slices come a close second!
• Breakfast granola - I?m addicted.
• The scenery, its a city surrounded by mountains / volcanoes....bizarre.
• People are so polite & have impeciable manners & its a really family orientated population.
• My arse actually looks small here wiv all the latino women about. Result!
• Everywhere has music; buses, toilets, you name it, its a playin.
• The measures of booze, I think I´m in heaven!

The worst things:

• The poverty & beggars - its heartbreaking at times.
• All the stray & ill dogs that just wander the streets!!!!
• The fact that the airports are situated in the centre of cities making the landings quite abrupt (not a prob for me but helens doing her nut over them).
• The fact everyone throws a strop if you give them any money bigger than a dollar note!!!!!!!!!
• The fact that i have to disect my food before eating it just to make sure that vegitariano is actually that!
• Everyone beeps at everyone all the time whilst driving, even if they do nothing wrong???
• Saying goodbyes to people I?ve met - I?ve become an emotional reck at times!

Ahh well, better get myself off to the local bar and partake in those bargin measures of booze. Oh yes!
