Buenos tardes!

So after our 'different' weekend we're back safe and sound at the amazonas inn hostel (ahhh comfy beds & heat again!). I don't know whether or not I've mentioned this but the night receptionist guys have taken a bit of a shine to helen during our stay. Last night we got in from drinking dirt cheap champagne cocktails (again!) ^ we'd only been in the room a few minutes when there was a knock at the door. It was only one of the two guys bringing us roses each and a weird ornament gift thingy! It was so sweet but also very funny (as the look on helen's face was sheer terror, lol), to make maters worse they don't speak very much english & we don't speak good enough spanish to be able to understand that well. After several minutes we gathered that they wanted to take us to some tourist park where they have these giant waterfalls! We tried to explain thank you but no thank you but it just wasn't happening, so somehow we ended up agreeing to watch a dvd about them tonight at the hostel when they start their shift!!! After he finally left us we were in histerics!

On a completely different note we also got invited to go to a private school this week by a headteacher so we can talk to the students, so they can practice their english. We are hopefully going to do that wednesday if we get chance, again it was helen who managed to get us invited there, so that should be different from the normal touristy things we've done so far (I'll keep you posted on that one).
