Tuesday 1st September - Koper pm

We got back very quickly to Koper and walked through the Old Town to a market area that had food stalls.
We each went and got ourselves something to eat and Paul bought these huge cans of local beer. Three between the 4 of us.

After lunch we walked back to the ship and it was very hot.
Stopped before security and Jane bought a necklace and Paul a T shirt. We went back through security and Paul always seems to have a hassle. Maybe his titanium knee makes the thing beep.

So hot so we went up to deck 11 and had a swim in the luke warm pool even though it was quite deep but after a couple of swims we had cooled down a bit so then back to our cabins and had showers and rested.

At 5.30pm we went up to deck 4 and got ourselves a drink and proceeded out onto the deck to watch the ship leave Koper. People lined the roadways on shore and waved and one fellow with a very loud voice yelled goodbye in several languages. It was great.

We went down to our cabins and got dressed in our finest livery as tonight dinner was a formal affair. There were fellows in tuxes and ladies with everything except the tiaras.
Dinner as has been the case was great again and the standard is brilliant.

After dinner we went back to the Celebrity theatre to watch a first class show put on by the ship's dancers and singers. Brilliant.
