Saturday 5th September - Beer and then lunch
The few drops of rain made the temperature rise somewhat and the humidity was bad so we stopped for a beer at Jannie's suggestion and we sat at a lovely cafe and had a local beer, "Nitsicki" for 1 Medium and 1 Large €4.90. There was a young man playing a flute and very well it was a nice way to spent a bit of time.
We chatted with the waiter who was very knowledgeable and followed rugby closely to the extent he mentioned the All Blacks losing a couple of times to France!!
We wandered about and looked in all sorts of shops and then decided to go back to the ship to have a burger and chips for lunch and then a swim.
We got ourselves back onto the launch and then back through security. Well sometimes it beeps when you go through yesterday it didn't. Today it beeped as I went through and this time I had to take off my sandals as the buckles set of the machine.
The swim was the first that we have had that the temperature of the water was acceptable.
The burger was only just ok as the patties were a bit manufactured.
Back to our cabin for a rest as the day started very early.
