Saturday 5th September - Kotor
We went and had breakfast and then prepared to go ashore. Problem 1 was that Jane's card wouldn't work in her door and that's the third time. Problem 2 is that our safe wouldn't open and we had to get the purser to come and open it so that we could get my wallet out.
We made our way down to the 1st deck to get a launch ashore. There was a heck of a queue and we had to wait for ages for a space on the launch.
We had a 5 minute trip to the wharf and just as we stepped ashore there were about 100 very big rain drops. No matter we headed for the Sea Gate and went into the Old Town where we decided to have a coffee even though it was only 9.00am. We had been up so long.
The Sea Gate was built in 1555 and originally the sea came right up to the gate. It's now 100m away.
Jane & Paul decided to go and get the Hop on Bus while Jannie finished off with trying to get emails. We walked the very narrow streets making sure that we didn't slip on the smooth damp cobblestones.
