Friday 2nd October - Lunch in Perpignan We walked into the township by a roundabout way which took us about 30 minutes and walked past the square and along the river to another square where the Information Centre is. We chose a cafe and Jannie had omelette and I had a Cassolet du Mer, mine was ok but not quite hot enough but the Estrella beers were great. Friday 2nd October - Coffee stop at the Roadside Truck Stop We pulled in after about 1 hour 20 minutes and had a coffee from the machine which was better than the last time we tried this.We got back on the road and the motorway as it passed Carcassonne turned into a 3 lane affair and was like that all the way to our turnoff for Perpignan. Thursday 1st October - Homeward Bound but with a bit of Walking to be done yet! We started down some of these little streets in order to find a shoe shop that we had been into earlier.
