Sunday 20th September.- Algues Mortes
We walked through the gate in the town wall and here was this amazing little town and dozens of restaurants.
We selected the first one that we came to and settled for a poulet sandwich and a beer. It was ok and we weren't in the hot sun but under the trees outside the restaurant. It also sold ice creams and boasted 90 flavours??
Afterwards we went for a walk through the town and looked in all these little shops. The quality was very good and we weren't tempted. Oh well until we came to a pottery shop where we could have bought dozens of things but settled for a set of 3 dishes.
The loo was closed down so we headed back to the car getting a couple of brochures on the boats that make trips into the Camague. We'll come back for one of those.
We got back to the bridge and "Hold me Back" the bridge was open so we couldn't walk across the footbridge to where the car was parked. It was open to let all of the boats that were doing trips to pass through on their 3 oclock trip.
We walked the long way back to the car and headed for Montpellier which was only about 20 kms away.
