Sunday 20th September - Coffee, Pack up and Leave Arles
It was very windy this morning and as we walked the streets of Arles we commented that it was almost jersey weather but somewhat thought that this was a bit over the top as Christchurch had a temperature of just 7 deg.
We got on the road and due to a suggestion of Marie and Jean we were heading for Montpellier via the coast road and the stop off point was to be Algues Mortes for lunch.
The total journey was only about 90kms but we got to Algues Mortes and luckily found a parking spot in a small cul de sac. "I hope it's alright here".
We walked over this opening swing bridge via the pedestrian path and opened and closed the gates at both ends and walked along the Petit Rhone basin to the gates of the Old Town.
