I went for a tour of the USS Midway Museum which is just down the road from the hotel. There were a number of guides who had previously served on the ship which was good. Afterwards we all drove to Old Town where there were lots of shops with leather bags and Mexican clothes, sombreros etc. We had lunch at a Mexican restaurant which we thought looked quite authentic but we all agreed the food was terrible!

After that, we returned the hire car after 10 days and caught a taxi back to the hotel. The others had a rest while I visited the Maritime Museum which is also across the road.

We enjoyed another meal at the Elephant and Castle.
