Had another big day's drive today from Las Vegas to San Diego. On the way, we stumbled across Calico Ghost Town which is a fairly authentic historic western town on the site of an old silver mine. We enjoyed it a lot although stopping there did set us back a few hours.

We eventually arrived in San Diego late in the afternoon and checked in to our accommodation at the Holiday Inn on the Bay. We had an enjoyable meal at the English Pub style restaurant downstairs called the Elephant and Castle.
