Had alot planned for today which I was really excited about, however it turned out to be such a let down!

We firstly set off to Little Italy area where there was supposed to be the Jean-Talon market. The area itself was pretty run down with no market insight. We stumbled across a road full of tatty shops then decided to head to our next destination, hoping it would get better.

Once in the Sherbrooke area we headed to the Ecomusee du fier monde - an old art deco public bath...to find it shut! The building itself was in an art deco style which was lovely to see.

"Stroll along Amherst Street and visit the antique shops that specialize in objects from the 1930s to 1960s" ; a quote from our 2010-2011 guide....I'd like to know where these shops were because we definately didn't see anything like this!

To summarise, today reinforced the fact that Montreal is hyped up! Me and Amy are trying to laugh at the situation though!
