Planned our day a little more so and set off to see Parc Jean-Drapeau on the island Ile Sainte-Helene. We used the metro for our means of transportation, which seems to be fairly easy to use.

Once at the park, there wasn't much to see nor do, so we took a stroll and came across the river Fleuve Saint-Laurent, which had an amazingly fast current! We were able to see Montreal city from across the river, which was nice to get a different perspective.

Once back in the city, we discovered the underground shopping mall, which had two levels underground and three above ground. I was really shocked to see this huge mall underground! This is apparently a way for the people to get out of the cold and snow in winter and out of the heat in summer!
