Just an overnight stay in Bangkok this time as we have booked the bus to Surat Thani tomorrow. We settled into our accomodation and headed out for a drink: Mac spotted that the Toon were playing so I excused myself (!) and went to catch up with internet stuff. Spotted a message from Marty saying that he and H had arrived safely and he would be wearing his football shirt and watching the match on Koh San road...I ran out of 'tinternat cafe as fast as my flip flops could carry me! There are tons of bars along the strip, so we decided to take a side of the road each and pop into as many as possible. Lucky for us we spotted them in the irish bar at the top of the street...yey! Had a canny night on the Tiger, rounded off with cheaper than chips Pad Thai...lovely!
