Just to say, I've arranged for you, mac, libby & friend to be on the guest list at Digital Club - Sat. 29th April...aren't I simply a spiffing chap eh what?

hey been reading ur entry's and im starting 2 feel sory 4 u in the food department so i have decided that on ur return i will cook u one of my special sunday dinners with plenty of yorkies for micheal. just to rub it in a bit we are waiting for our sunday dinner now having a lovely bit of pork so on that note see u when u get home. xx

Thought you'd want an update: Alison has broken her leg in 3 places. As I type, she's waiting for surgery in Dhm hospital - pins and all that. They kept her in yesterday morning, after an X -ray at Shotley Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Not sure how long she'll be in for, will find out tonight hopefully. Docs casn't believe she's gone 10 days with such a bad break - we both thought it was badly sprained and waited for the swelling to go down.
On a happier note, the party went ahead last Saturday night and was brilliant, and certainly well worth the stress and severe hassle. Toon family were on top form (as per) and John brought his accordian for us all to hum along to. I now need a months's R & R to recover.

Sorry bout before, I'm in the library - wasn't sure if this would work. Today os Wool's birthday and thanks for the unique card she got from 'Nam. We're having a big house bash tomorrow night at home: all Toon family coming over. Sadly, Alison twisted her leg last Friday, and hasn't been able to walk for a week now. Luckily I'm on hols for a week - but may have to take more time off come Monday next. Half a century eh? can't believe it really. Yes, you've actually beaten Wes' post card sending record - got the banana bike one this morning - very funky. So, you're a qualified diver now Kell? Adopt a bad French accent and you're away. What else? Condo Rice visits these shores this morning - loads of Muslim protesters at Mosques et al - Those coppers who shot the Stockwell guy will possibly be prosecuted at last!!! John is bringing his accordian down tomorow night - and even Aunt Mary & uncle John are coming on the Benwell Hopper. Cousin Gill treats us to a slap-up at Solomons in Denton Burn tonight - Wool complete with crutches - what a laugh! You both sure look likwe having a great time out there - look forward to beers & stories when you return. Re: Parking at the Freeman Hosp: staff can now 'rent' resident's drives in future to combat the problem (thought you'd be dying to know that?) Anyway...loadsto be getting on with - I've never bloody stopped all week - some holiday I can tell you. Look forward to more journal entries & pics next week. My friends returned from NZ this week, the airline however, forgot the time zone difference, and so they spent a whole day in Los Angeles airport as a result - so check the connection dates onyour tickets kids!

It's extremely cold right now, with ever increasing gloom (see! you're better off where you are?) - did I mention my friend in NZ had a stroke recently? Forward a hotel address...I'll post out the Stanley News - complete with (not very) cryptic word search. Looked the other week for new pics...so you're either both; dead, stoned, prostitutes, 'gone missing' (is Michael a lady-boy now?) or in the midst of transmitter unfriendly country. I'm enjoying early nights & NO BOOZE presently...so HAT'S OFF TO H.
