It was funny, we didn't realise that we had to board a barge to take us across the Murray River. On the map and GPS it just showed a road so we thought there must be a bridge across the Murray River, we did not expect a barge. We were cruising along when suddenly the road ended at a 'Stop' sign together with another sign saying River Ferry ahead, how weird is that! We only had to wait 5 minutes and the barge was back across to our side to pick us up and it was free, yes free! Once on the other side it was back on the highway towards the border.
