We have really enjoyed our stay here in Nowra. The Shoalhaven Caravan Park has so far been the friendliest Park that we have stayed in. Most of the residents in the park were permanent residents but immediately we felt at home with people welcoming us by waving, saying hello and talking to Lochie, it had a really nice atmosphere!
Lochie rode his bike a lot here so I decided to take his training wheels off and he was away, there was no stopping him! We never thought he would be able to ride his bike unassisted before our journey's end, we are so proud of him. He's already had some big stacks but no serious injury thank goodness.
With our bank account replenished we packed up and said goodbye to Nowra. We stopped off for morning coffee at 'The Famous Donut Van' in Berry. Not sure what it is or was famous for because unfortunately the coffee and donuts were quite ordinary and the woman behind the counter was unfriendly! After coffee we continued on towards Sydney with plenty of long steep hills to give the Zuki a good workout!
We managed to skirt around the City and made our way through to the north western suburbs to visit Kellie's Grandparents and then to our final destination at our friends Phil and Christine's place in Winston Hills. We will be staying here for a few days before continuing our journey north.
