We arrived here early this afternoon. The plan was to camp with Chook and Nat at the Crescent Head Caravan Park but Nat hadn't returned our messages so we weren't sure where they were. We had met Chook and Nat 6 months ago at Airlie Beach and they travelled with us through some of North Queensland. When we arrived we stopped off at the local grocery store for some supplies and then drove to the caravan park. We missed the driveway to the caravan park so we drove further up the road to do a u-turn when we noticed a big Ford F-Truck coming the other way flashing its headlights. It was Chook and Nat. They were no longer in the caravan park and had actually moved to a rental property about 10km out of town and they just happened to be coming into town to pick up their boat. It was all great timing! We followed them out to the beautiful lush two and a half acre rental property sitting on the edge of a river and only a short distance from the beach. We had an awesome catch up time over dinner, it was great to see them again, it brought us back to the start of our trip in beautiful Queensland. It's amazing to think that our 6 month journey is coming to an end.
