We get up ridiculously early to go to the floating market, which we didn't realise was so far away, nearly 2 hours! When we get there we walk around first then get a in a boat along the river to reach the other stalls, most are selling the same things, small souvenirs, spices and lots of tiger balm! Each stall owner had a long hook to pull the boat towards them so they can try and sell you their products, a very strange but cool experience we end up buying a coconut and some other fruit but leave the weird souvenirs to everyone else, next we are taken to a kind of zoo we has hundreds of crocodiles and snakes we watch some shows which included a 10 year old boy fighting a cobra! And a man with his head in a crocodiles mouth, there's also an elephant show where the elephants play football and we got to feed them after, you would hand the elephant some food and a tip for it's trainer which he would pass to him with it's trunk! On the way back we stop for lunch in a very strange but lovely floating restraint on the river we are sat with the rest of the tour group, none of which speaks English, sharing bowls of rice and Asian dishes a very surreal experience! When we get back we are so tired but it's our last night so we don't want to waste it. We go up the baioke tower, the tallest hotel in bangkok and top 20 tallest buildings in the world! To a roof top bar with revolving viewing platform, amazing views of the city and a great way to spend our last night in bangkok!
