So on our way back to giant Mai we stop at some hot springs, we managed the first pool which was 32 degrees but any hotter than that was too much for us! Although there was a few locals sitting in the 40 degree pool which apparently was really good for naturally healing or something! A bit further up was the 80 degree pool which was litterally steaming! And people were boiling eggs in it! There was also a geiser which didn't erupt while we were there unfortunely ...

today we checked out and went too hire a car, for some reason we decided to go for a huge 2.5l ford ranger truck! And we headed for pai! It took us around 2 hours, most of which was spent on a huge winding mountain which no one told me about!!! 762 bends apparently! But we survived we picked a hotel and went for dinner, pai is such a hippie town we felt so out of place with almost clean clothes and in dreadlocked hair! Today was a crazy day filled with activities! Up at stupid oclock and packed into a van filled completely with chineese people! Literal even the tour guide was chineese, don't know how we managed to book onto a chineese tour but it was cheap so oh well! First stop was of course the butterfly garden! Today we did a thai cooking class, we went for the evening option as we don't like to get up any earlier than absolutely necessary and so glad we did as we were the only people so got our own private lesson, I chose to make thai green curry, cashew nut chicken,spicy tomato soup and fried bananas. We learnt about all the ingredients and where they're grown and then started cooking it's ridiculous how many ingredients go into each dish, someI've never even heard!...

Today was the bet day ever! Tiger Kingdom!
