We are up at 5 to catch the bus and ferry to ko Tao, looking forward to some chill out time after a hectic few days in bangkok! I'm so tired I sleep nearly the whole 8 hour journey! And when we arrive we go straight to the hotel! We have booked a 4 day scuba course here which most people visiting the island are also doing! We go to check it out and are asked if we want to start straight away. There's a lot of classroom stuff to get through, videos to watch and we meet the other 3 boys on our course, we can tell it's going to be an intense few days and not quite the relaxing beach week we wanted! We go for tapas and head out exploring the tiny island! We hire mopeds to get from one side the other, which I am completely awful at! End up ditching mine at the hotel and just riding on the back of Elliot's, we find a really nice bar on the beach where everyone is just sitting on cushions on the sand and watch the amazing fire dancers! We try not to get too drunk as we have an early morning
