We drove from Auckland north to Pahai and caught a ferryover to a place called Russel. The weather was nice and hot for a change so we made the most of it, we walked miles uphill to find the place where they put the flag when the first person to enter it was and got lost coming back down and then we found the police station which looked like a house that should have been on little house on the prairy! We then got the ferry back over to Pahia and went to look at the waterfall and to the Treaty House, the beaches are lovely and wanted to go kayaking and horse riding but money is low so save that for oz!
