Well we arrived into this small town and looked into the glacier trips, there are options of half day, 3/4 day and full day trips but they all start with a 1 hour hike to the foot of the mountain then 45 mins up ice carved stairs into the glacier then hours walking on the glacier... realise that i dont like all that exercise so i chose to skip this one and poor Jono had to go by himself this morning but he really wanted to do it and i wasnt that fussed would be good when i was up there but i couldnt make it up there i dont think. The weather in New Zaland so far has been awful really cold and raining all the time, the locals say that this is the worst summer they have had for a long time but it should be warmer in the north island, off to Hanmer Springs this afternoon, was very proud of Jono doing his walk by himself he said some parts were tough but was amazing and really pleased he did it
