Hi all. After exploring the amazing countryside of Yangshuo we took a couple of trains and a bus into Vietnam. Spent a few days in Hanoi eating ice cream then headed down to central Vietnam and the city of Hue. Explored the old palaces and tombs which were awesome and then moved on to Hoi An - a quaint old fishing town. This is where it really started to rain, unbelievable amounts. Roads were fast turning into rivers and there were boats going up and down the raods of the Old Town. Katie got some clothes made at a tailors and we spent a few days waiting for them to be made and trying to keep dry! Next stop was Nha Trang - the Blackpool of Vietnam. Only really stopped here to break the long journey down to Ho Chi Minh. Again, it rained a lot and we got really wet.

We're now in Ho Chi Minh and the rain has eased, although the heat has reached new levels! Our friends Neil and Ali arrive tonight and then we're off to explore the Mekong Delta and head into Cambodia with them. Keep in touch.
