Hi everyone. So we flew from Seoul to Hong Kong and arrived Friday evening. Spent the weekend with Avril (Katie's step sister) which was great and a bonus to have local knowledge. HiJust about to leave Beijing for Vietnam. Beijing is a wicked city. We went for a great wall hike on Sunday - it really is great. It snakes up and down the hills as far as the eye can see. It was really steep and the path was really poor on the unrestored parts. At the end you could either walk about a mile to where the coach was meeting us or take a zip line. Hello,Beijing is amazing. We arrived yesterday from Mongolia, where we survived our 6-day journey into the middle of nowhere. Had an incredible time driving around the country on dirt tracks, sleeping in nomadic families Gers, climbing a volcano, horse riding around a huge frozen lake and eating a lot of mutton.
