Since we hired the car, we've been to Glenorchy to do some horse riding around classic Lord of the Rings scenery. We then headed north for a few days to see Wanaka (where there was an amazing cinema with sofas and even a Morris Minor you could sit in), the Southern Alps and the Franz Josef Glacier. Hi,Landed in Queenstown about a week ago now. Spent the first couple of days exploring the town. They have a marked out frisbee golf course which is pretty cool. There's also a luge track up one of the surrounding mountains that you can go down in a kind of go-kart. The next day we jumped out of a plane from 12,000 feet. Did a 7000 ft freefall over 45 seconds and then both of our parachutes opened which was nice. It was absolutely incredible and we have some ...
