Hi,
The non-snowy mountains were lovely. We walked up the highest mountain in Australia (Kosciusko) which was incredible. Spent a couple of evenings sat by a river looking for a Duck-Billed Platypus. By the end of the second night one appeared and swam about right in front of us for a few minutes. Very exciting. From there we drove to Canberra which has been really interesting despite what many people think. Went to the deep space tracking station and camped overnight on the site where the first moon landing pictures were recieved and broadcast to the world. Also saw a few museums, the Australian mint (where we made our own 1 dollar coins) and had a tour around Parliament House. We're heading onto Sydney or the Blue Mountains today, still not sure which one.
That's about it for now, keep in touch!!
