Today we walked around Gettysburg unfortunately a lot of the shops weren't open on a Tuesday. We had our first decent coffee and walked around town for an hour and a half. Really beautiful town - Scott and I went up to the Cemetary which had all of these unknown graves. Casualties of Gettysburg were 15000, in the cemetary there were 6000 US soldiers including 3580 Union Soldiers killed in Gettysburg. Nearly half those burials were unknown soldiers. A very moving place and obviously of great significance in US history. We then got on the highway to Washington. Death race 2000 Mark 2 in the rain. Danos and Jerry were driving. It was a very scary drive and everyone's nerves were shot but thank you to our wonderful drivers a very difficult job - Gerry and Trevor and Scott and Danos. Any way the girls had a few drinks to settle our nerves while waiting for the boys to drop the cars off. The city is beautiful , the Hotel is beautiful and really looking forward to exploring this city.
