Today we ended our cruise and will be spending tonight in Venice. Got off the boat with all our luggage and managed to find our way to our hotel but only after negotiating bridges etc. The boys were pretty puffed after carrying the bags over one bridge, although Danos paid guy $10 euros to wheel his gear. Sailed most of the day, arrived later than expected in Venice about 4.15pm. We cruised in past the Grand Canal and St Marks square which was awesome. Caught a water shuttle to St Marks Square. So exciting I love this place already, we went up the bell tower which gives you a great look at everything.
