Today we got off the ship in Civitecchio. We caught a shuttle bus to the end of the port and then walked to the train station to train it to Rome. A little confusion getting the train but then we were on our way to Termini. We then caught a metro train to the Colosseum, walked around it and then caught a cab to Trevi Fountain (named after Bails). After throwing our coins in Trevi we wandered down to the Pantheon (Scotts favourite place), once again marveling at it's size and how it could have been built so long ago. From the Pantheon we walked over to Piazza Navonna where we had a lovely lunch washed down with a beer. After lunch we walked over to St Peters square, took some photos and then made our way back to Termini for our return trip. Still in love with this city it is bellissimo.
