Left Barcelona today to get on board cruise ship. Rainy morning in BArcelona but sun came out as we were pulling out of the harbor. Ate a lovely buffet lunch when we got on board and sipped on cocktails for the arvo. Had dinner in a la carte restaurant, absolutely beautiful. Did the on off bus today. Saw the Olympic Stadium which sits on top of a hill overlooking the city. Spectacular! Got off at the Segrada Familia unbelievable church designed by Gaudi that has been being built since 1888 and still isn't finished and doesn't look like being finished. We spent 2 hours there got off and walked the streets, stopped and had drinks and tapas shopped had dinner and home.

Arrived in Barcelona after a very enjoyable train ride from Madrid. Sad to say goodbye to this city. Arrived to our hotel in Barcelona and while checking in at our motel a mans carry on luggage got stolen. Meanwhile Liz and Danos hadn't arrived due to the fact that their cab driver took them to the wrong hotel (on purpose) so it cost them 45 euros after they had to catch another cab. Today we set off on the on off bus. Very impressed with the historical buildings. The boys went to bull fights this arvo while the girls shopped. Zara was a very popular shop and of course very cheap over here. We were trying to meet the boys after the bullfight, we thought we were somewhere and told them to meet us but turned out we weren't where we thought we were. Very impressed with Madrid. Lot of police presence, lot of hookers, a lot of drunk people running...

Up early at 4.00 a.m. airport and off to Spain. 8 hour flight and landed in Madrid. Just love the place, stopped at first place to have a drink and with every 2 beers they gave us some tapas. Drank sangria and more beautiful tapas. Everything is very cheap. Food, beer, wine and shoes. Oh the shoes.
