Well we have come to the last day of our trip. We do a bit of last minute shopping then take the train out to the Olympic Stadium. Really lovely out there lots of parkland and water. Very modern looking for something that is 40 years old. We are leaving here at 3.20 for a 3 hr train ride to Frankfurt then we have an 6 hr 20 min flight to Dubai leaving at 10.40 pm. Today we all did different things after meeting about 10 and wishing Liz a happy birthday. As usual we always seem to have a big night the night before someones birthday. I was feeling very Ill from the previous night so I went back to bed. Liz and Danos went on the on/off bus. Scott did a walking tour. Today we have breakfast and then we have to get our luggage from Citadines (where we last stayed in Munich). The plan is to get some cabs the boys will drop us off at our new hotel with our luggage then they will go over to Citadines to get the rest of our luggage that we left behind. As you can see from my photo today we did the Sound of Music tour. Really interesting, disappointing to find out so much of the movie isn't true. Went to the Abbey where Maria stayed and also the real church where they were married. Today we moved from the Munich hotel we were in to the airport hotel for the start of our bus trip. We are only taking one bag between 2 people and leaving our other bag at the hotel.
